PDF tools that never upload your files
Most online PDF sites send your documents to their servers, cap how many files you can process each day, and ask you to pay to remove the limits. Every PDF tool here works differently: the processing happens inside your web browser using WebAssembly, so contracts, bank statements, payslips and ID scans never leave your device.
Start with the job you need: merge PDFs into one file, split a PDF into parts, compress a PDF for email or upload limits, or convert between PDF and JPG. You can also rotate, reorder, sign, watermark, number and password-protect documents.
Tips for working with PDFs
- Compress last: merge and edit first, then shrink the final file once.
- Scanned documents are images. To copy their text, run them through image to text (OCR).
- Government portals often limit uploads to 100 KB–2 MB. Compress, then check the size before you upload.
