How the widgets work

Each widget is the same calculator you use on KazamTools, shown in a small frame on your page. The maths runs in your visitor's browser, so nothing they type is sent to us or to you. The frame is light: it loads no ads, no analytics and no fonts.

  1. Pick a calculator and a colour option above.
  2. Press Copy embed code.
  3. Paste the code where you want the calculator to appear. That's it.

The code has two parts: the frame itself and one line of credit under it that links to the full calculator. Please keep that line. It is how we keep the widgets free, and it gives your readers the full page with the formula, worked examples and sources. Read how webuild and test our calculators.

Frequently asked questions

Are the widgets really free?

Yes. You can add any of these 98 calculators to a personal, business or client website at no cost. There is no sign-up and no usage limit. We only ask that you keep the small credit link under the widget.

Do the widgets show ads or track my visitors?

No ads are shown inside a widget. The widget page sets no cookies of its own and sends the numbers your visitors type nowhere: every calculation runs in their browser.

Will the widget work on phones and in dark mode?

Yes. Widgets resize to the width of your page and work on screens from 320 px wide. Choose Auto to follow each visitor's light or dark setting, or force Light or Dark to match your site.

How do I add a widget to WordPress?

Copy the embed code, then in the block editor add a Custom HTML block and paste it in. In the classic editor, switch to the Text tab first. Page builders such as Elementor have an HTML widget that works the same way.

Can I change the height of the widget?

Yes. Change height="640" in the code to any pixel value. The widget also reports its real height to your page, so developers can resize the frame automatically by listening for the toolwise:height message.

What happens when you update a calculator?

Your widget updates by itself. Rule changes such as new tax rates or limits reach every site that embeds the calculator, with nothing for you to do.
